Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods & Transaction Currency

All purchases completed through viretina.com are processed in Euros (EUR). We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The payment methods displayed at checkout may vary depending on the customer's location, device, browser, card issuer, financial institution, digital wallet provider, or other payment-service requirements.

If the payment account used for a purchase is denominated in a currency other than EUR, the customer's bank, card issuer, PayPal account, digital wallet provider, or other financial institution may convert the transaction using its own exchange rate. Any foreign transaction fees, currency-conversion charges, or similar fees imposed by a third-party financial institution are determined independently and are outside the control of VIRETINA, LLC.

2. Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments made through viretina.com are processed through authorized third-party payment service providers, primarily Stripe and PayPal. Depending on the payment method selected, additional parties such as card networks, issuing banks, digital wallet providers, or other financial institutions may participate in authorization and settlement of the transaction.

VIRETINA, LLC does not control the internal banking, authorization, verification, or settlement systems operated by these providers. Transactions may therefore be subject to the applicable provider's authentication requirements, security procedures, fraud controls, processing rules, service availability, and terms of use.

3. Payment Information & Data Security

VIRETINA, LLC does not store customers' complete credit or debit card numbers, CVV/CVC security codes, complete banking credentials, complete digital-wallet authentication credentials, or other full payment authentication information on systems directly controlled by us. Sensitive payment credentials are submitted through the secure payment environment of the applicable authorized payment provider.

We use reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect payment-related information during transmission, including HTTPS connections, SSL/TLS encryption, secure payment gateways, tokenization, access controls, and payment-provider security technologies. Our payment providers may additionally use PCI DSS security standards, 3D Secure authentication, fraud screening, transaction monitoring, and automated risk assessment where applicable. These protections are intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized transactions, payment fraud, and improper access to sensitive payment information.

4. Payment Authorization & Order Confirmation

Submitting an order through viretina.com does not by itself confirm that payment has been successfully authorized or that the order has been finally accepted. Transactions may be reviewed and authorized by Stripe, PayPal, card issuers, payment networks, banks, digital wallet providers, or other applicable financial institutions before processing can be completed.

An order may be delayed, placed on hold, declined, or cancelled where payment authorization fails, additional verification is required, submitted payment information is incomplete or inconsistent, or a transaction is identified as potentially unauthorized or high risk. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and current billing and payment information when completing checkout.

5. Failed Payments, Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

A payment may be declined or fail because of insufficient funds, incorrect payment details, expired payment credentials, card restrictions, transaction limits, unsuccessful authentication, security screening, temporary provider interruptions, or suspected fraudulent activity. Customers may attempt another available payment method or contact the relevant bank or payment provider for additional information.

If you believe that a transaction has been processed incorrectly or that there is another payment-related issue, please contact us at [email protected] and provide sufficient order and transaction information for us to review the matter. If a chargeback or payment dispute is submitted through a bank, card issuer, Stripe, PayPal, or another payment provider, the matter will be handled according to the applicable provider's dispute procedures and any relevant legal requirements.

6. Refunds to the Original Payment Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not normally issue refunds to a different card, bank account, digital wallet, or unrelated payment method. Once a refund has been approved, we generally submit it for processing within approximately 7 business days.

After a refund has been submitted, additional time may be required before the funds appear in the customer's account. Posting times are determined by Stripe, PayPal, banks, card issuers, payment networks, digital wallet providers, or other applicable financial institutions and are outside the direct control of VIRETINA, LLC. Refund eligibility remains subject to our applicable Refund and Returns Policy.
